Before Application:
Always apply Keromask to clean, dry skin. If your skin is very greasy then it may be necessary to wipe the area first with a gentle skin toner to remove the excess oil.

To Test for a Suitable Color:
The natural selector guide will help determine colors that are most relevant to your skin’s natural shade. Select a pre-mixed color you think will be suitable, and place a very small amount directly next to the area of skin requiring the camouflage. Gently blend the cream over the area to ensure that the selected color is a good match for your natural skin tone.

You may need to mix two colors together to achieve an acceptable skin match. This is especially so if your skin changes color due to on-going medical procedures. Mixing can be achieved on the back of the hand or on a palette, and any of the 21 skin shades or preliminary mixing colors can be mixed to achieve the desired result.

Application Technique:

•  Place the required amount of Keromask cream on the back of the hand.
•  The best technique in applying Keromask over small areas or fine scarring is to use a professional foundation brush. Your finger tips or cosmetic sponge are better tools for larger and more sensitive areas of skin. Pick up the Keromask from the back of the hand and carefully apply the camouflage- trying to keep the cream inside the area and blending gently into the margin.
•  Take care to ensure that the Keromask blends well all over the area

About Keromask Mineral Rich Finishing Powders
To fix the Keromask cream and give a long lasting finish, the mineral rich finishing powder should be dusted very lightly onto the area, using a round brush. The Keromask Finishing Powders come in four shades (translucent, light, medium and dark) ensuring a perfect color match for all skin types. The translucent powder is designed such that it will not alter the color of the camouflage.

The finishing powders not only set the foundation, helping to keep it in place, but also prepare the skin for additional ‘dry’ products to be applied, e.g. eye shadows and blushers. Once the base is set, any additional products will easily glide onto the skin.
